Labovitz School of Business and Economics (LSBE), University of Minnesota Duluth, Duluth, Minnesota. Patrick Redmond presented on his topic "The Problem with Creative Problem-Solving in Marketing Graphic Design Brand Identity Development" in part, as a guest of the LSBE MGD [Marketing and Graphic Design] Club, in the LSBE Branding course, October 5, 2017.

2016 Art Educators of Minnesota [AEM] Fall Conference, Patrick Redmond's presentation topic "Forming An AEM Design Interest Group [DIG]" included in program, Saturday, November 5, 2016, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Patrick Redmond is an Associate Member of AEM, Art Educators of Minnesota, and of NAEA, National Art Education Association. He is a member of NAEA's Design Issues Group [DIG]. The intention is to form a state chapter of the national NAEA DIG.

2016 Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards award ceremonies Keynote Speeches. Saturday, February 20, 2016, as a Scholastic Art Awards alumnus celebrating the 50th year since he had begun working in the field, Patrick Redmond was honored to deliver the noon and 1:30 pm Keynote Speeches in the Dolly Fiterman Riverview Gallery, at the Frank Gehry-designed Weisman Art Museum, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities Campus, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Affinity Session, "Head, Heart, Hand" 2013 AIGA National Design Conference. Panelist with Pamela Mead, Michael Bierut, and Jennifer Kinon; panel discussion facilitated by Su Mathews Hale [2014 President-elect, national AIGA]. "Artists and Designers as Entrepreneurs", Patrick Redmond's topic he presented for the "Entrepreneurship" (Bus254) course at Augsburg College, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Thursday, March 27, 2014. The "Entrepreneurship" course, taught by Assistant Professor John C. Cerrito, is offered through the Department of Business Administration. Patrick Redmond coined the terms "Designer As Entrepreneur"TM and "Designers As Entrepreneurs"TM at the International Design Conference, Aspen, Colorado, in 1977. MCAD "Feed Your Future" Alumni Mentor Lunch Series. Patrick Redmond was the featured MCAD Alumni Mentor January 26, 2015 for the first session of the 2015 MCAD "Feed Your Future" Alumni Mentor Lunch Series at MCAD, the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. According to MCAD, "the Feed Your Future lunch series is a tremendous opportunity for students to come together in a small-group setting and ask questions of MCAD alumni about their journey into the world after leaving MCAD. The focus of the series is to learn from each other and to be part of a bigger conversation!" This series is offered in coordination with the MCAD Alumni Association and MCAD Career Services.

Miami Ad School. Patrick Redmond, PatrickRedmondDesign.com, was a guest speaker July 21, 2008 at Miami Ad School Minneapolis, Minnesota.
